Speeches

In term 3 we had our speeches and this year the teachers decided to add a presentation. This meant that we had to create a presentation that we could talk to,we could chose any topic and we only had five weeks. This meant that we had to do some serious self managing! I choose the subject of dreams and after the continuous stages of planning and editing I moved on to my presentation. I did this on Google slides and because of the short time frame it was a bit of a rushed job.

Next time I would probably have a different topic and work on making my speech funny and entertaining. i would also have more images on my presentation because it is more entertaining than words.

Book Review

The Suitcase Kid

This book by Jacqueline Wilson is a book that I have just started reading. I first picked the book because I have read the start before and really liked it. So far Andy(the main character) is feeling angry and left out because her pearents have split up. They are currently living in separate houses with different partners that all have children. Andy doesn't like the children or the Step-parents. All she wants is to live back in there cottage as one big family.
